Absurd Gun-Control quotes from Politicians



Here is a list of absurd quotes from gun-control proponents about the Second Amendment, gun violence, and guns that confirm, once again, that thinking before emoting is easier said than done.





  1. “The Second Amendment only protects the people who want all they can have. The rest of us, we’ve got no Second Amendment. What we are supposed to do?”

Slaughter blamed the Second Amendment for violent crime, saying “Americans aren’t safe anywhere” and gun control “has to be done” to protect citizens from themselves and their constitutionally guaranteed individual right to own a firearm.
